Our Churches

There are currently four congregations worshipping in five church buildings in the Andover-Kincardine Pastoral Charge.

Our four congregations are:

St. James United Church , Perth-Andover
St. Paul's United Church, Gladwyn
Upper Kintore United Church in Upper Kintore
Kincardine-Upper Kent, a congregation that worships at Upper Kent United Church in the winter and at Melville Church, Kincardine in the summer.

These photos of the churches were taken in the fall of 2011.

The decimation caused by four floods over the years has badly damaged the underpinnings of St. James Church, Perth-Andover.

The congregation has decided to restore and repair the church and hall and work is being carried out. St. James will look very different after the reconstruction as the steeple has had to be removed.

The hall is almost ready to be occupied again but it will take time and great cost before the church can be used as before.

In 2008, St. Paulís United Church, located at 1031, Route 390, Gladwyn, N.B. E7H 4N6, turned 100 years old. The members of the congregation, spear-headed by Brenda McNeil, decided to erect a cairn to honour this event. A Dedication Ceremony, officiated by Rev. Helene Burns, was held at the church on August 3, 2008, at which time a cairn was unveiled marking the Centennial year for St. Paulís.
